FAQ

How Long Will Semi Permanent Lashes Last?

Eyelash Extensions last between 4-6 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. Your own lashes shed naturally and new ones continue to grow in a replenishing cycle. We naturally shed 2 to 4 lashes from each eye in a day so the lash extensions will last as long as the cycle of your natural lash. Touch ups are recommended every 2– 3 weeks to maintain your look depending on your individual needs.

How long will my appointment take?

Allow 60 minutes for a Natural Full/Classic (80 ps) sets, 60-75 minutes for Volume (110 ps) sets and 75-90 minutes for 2D Volume (140 ps) sets . Refill will require 45-60 minutes depending on the condition of your lashes.

Will I feel my Lashes?

Our lash extensions will look completely real & feel no different to your natural lashes. With no extra weight on your natural lashes, you won’t even feel like you’re wearing them.

Can I wear makeup to my appointment?

Your eyelashes must be clean. Please avoid wearing water proof mascara 2-3 days before your appointment - Oils in water proof mascara will weaken the adhesive features of the glue and affect the life of your lash extensions.

Can I wear mascara after eyelash extensions?

Pari Lash NY advises against wearing water proof mascara. It will reduce the life of your eyelash extensions.

How many lashes are applied?

Our eyelash extensions are applied to every natural resting lash so you can expect to receive approximately 80 lashes per eye for Full/Classic sets. For more information, please see our menu for average number of lashes for our Natural Full/Classic,  Volume, 2D/Double and 3D Volume sets.

Can I use eye makeup remover?

We recommend water based eye makeup remover or cleanser. Beauty products that contain oils will affect the adhesive feature of the glue and shortens the life of your eyelash extensions.

What maintenance is required?

We recommend gently washing your Extensions daily, (after 24 hrs from your lash extensions procedure ) to remove dust, dirt and oils and to avoid infections. After Care instructions will be given at the end of the procedure.

What causes will not allow me to have eyelash extensions?

You’ll not be able to get eyelash extensions done, if you have any eye irritations or, infections. Avoid them if you have high allergies/sensitivities with skin products.
